Yes, you read that correctly. McDonalds how I love thee! Apparently McDonalds uses polymethylsiloxane, a type of silicone in their cooking oil to prevent it from foaming, and recently, Japanese researchers found that this same chemical can help produce hair growth. The researchers performed a test on mice and found that the chemical did, in fact, increase their hair follicles.
